About Us
 

The Regenerative Rubber Initiative e.V. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a sustainable financial and social ecosystem to support the shift from rubber monoculture to agroforestry. The association serves as a connecting hub for all stakeholders along the rubber supply chain -  from the cooperatives and our partner NGO RAFS in Southern Thailand, via industry partners in Southeast Asia to brands across the globe. In order to develop our initiative further, we are seeking a dedicated and responsible Executive Director (m/f/d) based within the EU ideally starting January 2026 in part-time.
 

Your Responsibilities
 

  • Strategic and operational management of the association’s office and activities

  • Close collaboration with the advisory board, members, and external partners to develop, implement and evaluate projects in line with the association’s mission

  • Representation of the organization to the public, authorities, and media

  • Financial planning, budgeting, application for funding and grants and overall responsibility for the organization’s economic stability

  • Ensuring compliance with legal and statutory requirements
     

Your Profile
 

  • Several years of experience within the nonprofit or social sector with a focus on agricultural supply chains in the Global South

  • Strong intercultural communication and organizational skills

  • Solid understanding of German association law, fundraising, and public funding structures

  • Professional command of English as well as ideally German and one Southeast Asian language
